Steele Aviation History
When our founder Nicolas Steele was about eleven years old he was lucky enough to have been mentored by a close family friend who held a pilots license.
It was not long before Nicolas was taking off and landing airplanes all by himself. Although legally he was too young to be licensed he made it his goal to be the youngest international airline pilot. Like many dreams we have at a young age Nicolas’ dream altered slightly when introduced into the world of corporate jets. As time went on he abandoned the airline route in favor of corporate and has done so since 1993.
After selling his first jet in 1994 our founder decided to allocate more of his time to aiding in the acquisition and selling of business and commercial aircraft. He stays current in all aircraft and is type rated as captain in several jets ranging from Citations to Hawker’s to Gulfstream’s including the G550. In addition to being a licensed helicopter pilot flying several Eurocopter and Bell turbines and having flown aerobatics in such aircraft as the Extra 300 and military jet aircraft he still flies almost daily and the love of flying is still as strong as ever.
“I have lived and breathed some form of aviation since I was very young. From being a tarmac boy fueling aircraft and loading bags at 12 yrs old to flying the latest and greatest aviation had to offer once I became a pilot. Aviation is truly a love of mine and I am so grateful to help others everyday.”
